A huge congratulations to the Girls (and Staff) of Kingsmoor who played amazingly well at the recent Essex County Finals, finishing runners-up to a very strong Dame Bradbury Team.
The event, which featured the 14 winning teams from the entire county, was always going to be a challenge but the girls played fantastically. Despite an opening defeat, the team dug deep and eventually finished top of the group to qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-final against Moulsham Juniors was a tight affair and Kingsmoor edged the penalty shoot out to proceed to the finals. Unfortunately, the long day proved a match too far and the Girls lost heavily to a well-drilled Dame Bradbury team. We were really proud of the Kingsmoor team who represented Harlow with such determination and skill – great job girls!
