FORE! Tri-Golf Success, despite windy.

FORE! Tri-Golf Success, despite windy conditions.

Once again, the Golfing Gods decided to play-up for the annual Tri-Golf Festivals at Church Langley Primary School. The event started well with the teams of 15 having time to practise each of the 8 different holes. The children enjoyed chipping, putting and trying to gain as few points as possible – ‘Scoring Low, Makes You Glow!’ was the motto. Having spent time trying to improve their technique through the activities, the idea was for each pupil to have an attempt on each hole, trying to score as fewer points as possible. Despite the interchanging conditions, the scoring was good, with many teams showing great improvements throughout the event.

15 Teams who attended were: Nazeing x 4, Saint Nicholas x 2, St Albans, St Lukes, St James x 4, Milwards x 2 and Pemberley.

David Stacey (Church Langley) gave thanks to all the schools in attendance and to the children who behaved beautifully and really enjoyed trying something different.
