Although we say it often, it is with sincerest and humblest thanks to all the schools who participated in the most awe-inspiring event today. Our first venture into SEND specific Festivals wasn’t without its challenges but thanks to the dedication and care of the school staff attending and the resilience of the young people involved, we had a great time. The looks on the faces of the children as they achieved things beyond their expectations was awesome – there were many ‘lump in the throat moments!’
Schools attending were:
Henry Moore, Purford Green, St Albans, St Lukes, Milwards, Tanys Dell, Potter Street, The Downs, St James, Freshwaters, cooks Spinney and Little Parndon.
As ever we aim to reflect on improve on the opportunities that we offer but for now thank you to the Harlow Leisure Zone for accommodating all of our needs, project ability (Gill Newlyn and Marcus Cattell) and to the children and staff who attending today. Well done everyone.
