Though the clouds loomed menacingly overhead the outlook for the future of Cricket in Harlow looked bright as 13 teams competed in this year's festival at Harlow Town Cricket Club.
Following a morning warm-up session of skills, the teams put into practise their recent improvements within small-sided Kwik Cricket games. With the help from Passmore's students and many of the Harlow Primary school staff the children enejoyed an afternoon of games; the standard was so high that the teams rattled through the planned fixtures, finsiihing ahead of schedule. Although there was no 'winner' (as it was a festival) the 13 teams took home a certificate of participation to celebrate their achievements.
Well done to the teams from Tanys Dell, St Lukes, St James, St Albans, Kingsmoor, William Martin, Church Langley, and Fawbert and Barnard.
