Congratulations went to Katherines Primary School B team, who narrowly edged out St Lukes A on the number of basket's scored, to win this year's Basketball Finals. The standard of play was excellent throughout a competitve afternoon, with group matches leading to a Cup and Shield finals group. Katherines B succeeded in lifting their first trophy of the season with some exceptional play; they were worthy winners.
Thanks were given to the 7 Mark Hall Academy Sports Leaders, who umpired, time-kept and organised results really well; they were a credit to Mark Hall Academy (and their previous primary schools!) Thanks were also given to Lynne Godsave (Nazeing), Malcolm Harries and Gill Pardoe of Church Langley and SGO - David Stacey for a superbly run event.
Well done to all the 9 teams who qualified for the finals.
