Kwik-Cricket success at Harlow Town CC
On the hottest day since records began, over 180 children from 16 Primary schools came together at Harlow Town CC to enjoy a festival of Kwik Cricket. The morning consisted of skills activities where the children from Years 3 and 4 practised bowling, batting and fielding. Following lunch, the teams took to the field to apply some new sporting skills. The green pitches were awash with smiling children running, catching, bowling and batting their way through the afternoon (some were even cartwheeling!) The teams got to play 3 matches each and received certificates at the end. The children were all commended on their high levels of Sportmanship, with Abbotsweld being awarded a trophy for their outstanding manners and friendship. Congratulations to all participants for a great day and thanks again to Harlow Town CC and the students from Passmores, who were a real credit to themselves, their families and their school.
