Design Harlow’s Olympic torch
We need a Harlow Olympic torch to attend all of our events and we want a school child from Harlow to design it!
We want to end up with two fully designed torches using the winning designs from Primary and Secondary schools.
The competition will be judged by Harlow SSP, HEC and some of Harlow’s potential 2012 athletes including Anne Strike.
All entries to the SSP (see below) will be displayed as an exhibition in a prominent area of Harlow Town and all schools will be invited to attend and the winning school will be the first to see the designed torches
The torches will also represent the town by going to other Olympic events being planned in Harlow and Essex such as the “sparks will fly” being held in the town square on May 25th 2012.
