Emerging players thrive in Tag-Rugby Festival

Thanks to all the children and staff for attending the EMERGING Tag-Rugby Festival at Harlow Rugby Club on Friday morning; the children had a really good time and made huge progress in such a short time. As ever, thanks was given to the Harlow Rugby Club for facilitating the event in which nearly 200 pupils gained an experience of representing their schools and a competitive situation – albeit with lots of coaching and positive reinforcements of the rules.

David Stacey (School’s Sport Partnership Manager) was able supported by Luke Hammond (SGO), Gill Pardoe and members of staff from local sports provider ‘Sports Cool’.

18 teams participated in a series of group matches: Purford Green, Henry Moore x 2, St Albans, St Lukes, Cooks Spinney x 2, Tanys Dell x 2, Potter Street, Nazeing x 2, Milwards, Hare Street x 2, Hatfield Heath x 2 and Saint Nicholas.
