Oh the weather outside is frightful but…inside the Mark Hall Sports Centre it was lovely and cosy as 16 teams joined us for a Year 3 and 4 Kurling Festival. Supported by young Leaders from Church Langley, the 4 groups of competitors soon got to grips with the strategy and techniques required to play. Having played everyone in their group, the teams were re-pooled, with the strongest 4 teams playing off for the Gold medal positions. After a ‘quick-fire’ round of one end matches, Little Parndon 1 and Cooks Spinney 2 were unable to be separated, both teams finishing joint first on 7 points.
