With only 10 teams able to make the afternoon session, it was left to Church Langley 2 to secure the victory after a round of enthralling matches. The standard of play was superb; the older children were more willing to be ruthless in attempting to dislodge their opponents stones in order to gain points. This lead to some very exciting matches, often won or lost on the very last stones after 3 ends. Having played everyone in their group, the 10 teams were repooled and played a round of ‘quick-fire’ single end matches. After some very close games, Church Langley 2 eventually secured the title winning all 4 games in the finals group.
