Well done to the team from Roydon, who came out on top in this year’s Tennis Festival held once again at the Harlow Tennis Club. Organised by Will Calvert and Luke Spooner (and a team of members from the club) the children from 19 teams of 4 enjoyed a morning of group matches before the playing in knock-out competition in the afternoon.
The eventual top 3 placing s were: Roydon, St Nicholas and Holy Cross; the teams competing were:

ü St James x 4
ü The Downs x 3
ü Holy Cross x 2
ü Fawbert and Barnard x 2
ü St Nicholas x 1
ü Pear Tree Mead x 4
ü Roydon x 1
Roydon will now go forward to represent Harlow in the Level 3 event in a couple of weeks’ time - we wish them every success.
