Despite the slightly cramped conditions inside the hall at Mark Hall Sports Centre, the 16 teams (approximately 100 children) had a great time developing their basketball skills in a friendly-festival. The standard of play improved throughout the afternoon as the students of various abilities began to explore possibilities and recognise limitations; this should hold them in great stead for future events.
Thanks as always to the staff and umpires who help to ensure the events run so smoothly – finishing on time or before is definitely becoming the ‘norm’ now. The final results are as below:
