Last Christmas…we came up with an idea and this year we were delighted to continue this new tradition. On Thursday afternoon, we were treated to an amazing Christmas Cheerleading Festival at Mark Hall. 8 schools and nearly 200 pupils and many spectators descended, pom-poms and all, on the Sports Centre. The children simply shone! The moves, choreography, individual and group performances were amazing; it gave many children an opportunity to represent their school in a different way and they beamed with pride – as did all the adults watching.
Thanks again to all the school staff who spent hours organizing routines; it was certainly worth the effort as the children did you all very proud. Schools performing were: Church Langley, Saint Nicholas, Water Lane, Henry Moore, Roydon Primary, Newhall Primary, Little Parndon and Potter Street.
