Church Langley reclaim Indoor Athletics Title
And that’s Indoor Athletics done for another year!
The afternoon's event was even more competitive, with the children showing great pace on the track. The field events were close with some incredible speed bounce scores, showing great improvement on previous years.
Again, there were notable performances from Little Parndon and Churchgate, with Freshwaters and Henry Moore taking a deserved second place. Church Langley returned to days gone by, reclaiming the trophy with a comfortable margin. We wish them well as they represent Harlow in the County Finals in March 2023.
The results were as follows:
1stplace - Church Langley – 680 points
=2ndplace - Henry Moore – 626 points
=2ndplace – Freshwaters – 626 points
4thplace - Little Parndon – 624 points
5thplace – Churchgate – 588 points
6thplace – Nazeing – 536 points
7thplace – Saint Nicholas – 512 points
8thplace - Tanys Dell – 500 points
9thplace - Cooks Spinney – points Saint Nicholas
10thplace - Hatfield Heath – 398 points
Thank you to everyone who supported the events this week. Special mention to the Sports Leaders from Church Langley who performed tirelessly throughout both days; their help was instrumental in running such smooth events, with very fuss. A great job guys and girls – well done. As always your help is greatly appreciated and together, we provide amazing opportunities for the children in Harlow.
