Hockey titled shared after final ends in a draw
A fitting end to a wonderful tournament saw the teams from Henry Moore 1 and Church Langley 1 share the title after the final finished 1-1.
From the 27 teams who started last week’s qualifiers, the 12 finalists returned to Church Langley Astro to compete for the final. The teams were divided into 2 groups of 6 and once again, the umpires (David Stacey, Gill Pardoe and Harry Stacey) presided over a large number of games. Eventually after all 30 games were completed, the final between Henry Moore 1 and Church Langley 1 was an exciting affair.
