Hockey Qualifiers –
It was all jolly hockey sticks at Church Langley Primary School as 27 teams descended throughout the day to attempt to make it through to the Hockey Finals. Both qualifying events, a morning and an afternoon session, were full-on with an astounding 48 matches played. The standard of play was excellent and the athletes made huge progress with what can be a tricky game – reversing the stick and trying hard not to let the ball hit your feet, always causing problems.
Thanks were given to the school staff who managed a tricky timetable, ensuring that teams were ready to play, with the correct equipment and in the right place.
