With only 16 teams able to make the afternoon session, it was left to Tanys Dell 2 to secure the victory after a round of enthralling matches. The standard of play was superb; the older children were more willing to be ruthless in attempting to dislodge their opponents’ stones in order to gain points. This lead to some very exciting matches, often won or lost on the very last stones after 3 ends. Having played everyone in their group, the 16 teams were re-pooled and played everyone in their new ranked groups. After some very close games, Tanys Dell 2 eventually secured the title winning all 3 games in the finals group.
