Oh the weather outside is chilly but…inside the Mark Hall Sports Centre it was lovely and cosy as 20 teams joined us for a Year 3 and 4 Kurling Festival. Supported by young Leaders from Church Langley, the 4 groups of competitors soon got to grips with the strategy and techniques required to play. Having played everyone in their group, the teams were re-pooled, with the strongest 4 teams playing off for the Gold medal positions. After a ‘quick-fire’ round of two-end matches, Little Parndon 2 (Reds) secured the title, losing only one match throughout the morning. Church Langley 3,Cooks Spinney 2 and Cooks Spinney 1 were unable to be separated, so all three teams finished joint runners-up on 8 points, with Potter Street 1 taking the bronze medals.
