And the season of returns continued today, with a welcome return to Mark Hall Sports Centre. After nearly 18 months, it was great to hear the sports hall buzzing with the excited cheers of children playing sport.
The mid-morning session saw eight teams compete in 2 groups for a place in next week’s Futsal finals. With some strong performances, the teams from Freshwaters and Cooks Spinney made their way through some tough games. There were a number of amazing saves from the keepers, in addition to the quick dribbling skills on show.

The afternoon saw 6 teams from 3 different schools participate. Although there were less teams, they played more matches. The top teams from the one larger group both came from Little Parndon, who scored some excellent team goals. Again, there were a number of standout performances from the goalkeepers.
