Once again Harlow has ventured into the unknown and turned up an amazing set of results.
Yesterday saw the first SGO led Secondary School event in many, many years. Although the SGO role for secondary is held by Mark Hall, they have been unable to provide any calendar event for the past 4 years. Having already booked Adam Burgess from indoorsports.org, we were able to arrange an event for Years 7 and 8. Teams from Stewards, Passmores, Mark Hall and Burnt Mill supported the event with students – many of which had taken part in primary events – who were an absolute delight to observe.
Sports Leaders from Church Langley helped officiate and score; the results were incredibly close with Burnt Mill’s Girls and Stewards’ Boys taking the respective titles.
Thanks to Rebecca and the Sports Leaders for their help and to the secondary school PE departments for supporting what we hope is the first of many events for the secondary schools.
