Kwik Cricket success for Years 3 and 4

Congratulations to the 16 participating teams who attended today's Kwik-Cricket Festival for Years 3 and 4 at Harlow Town Cricket Club. Once again the weather was kind (at least the rain held off) and the teams were able to develop their skills through a series of games in both the morning and the afternoon.

The Sports Leaders from Passmores Academy were terrific in their roles as coaches and umpires, ensuring all the games allowed the children time to develop the skills of bowling, batting and fielding. Thanks were given to Mr Elston and his pupils - they were great ambassadors for their school.

Having played group matches the teams were re-pooled according to league results, with the stronger teams pitted against each other. The afternoon saw more competitive matches, with equally matched teams pitting their skills against each other. The results below show the positions of the re-pooled teams.

Thanks were given to the Harlow Town CC for hosting another amazing opportunity for the children of Harlow.
