Churchgate are netball champions!!
On Tuesday 29th March 10 primary school teams came to Mark Hall to compete in the Harlow School Sport Partnership H5 Primary netball final with Churchgate becoming champions who won after not losing a single match.
The final followed a series of qualifying events held across Harlow in which a total of 22 school team’s participated in and over 200 children took part in.
At the final there were 90 children who competed in a series of matches’ culminating in a final between Churchgate and Jerounds B with Churchgate taking the honours and the trophy.
George Gardiner (Partnership Development Manager) said “the event was played within a great atmosphere created by the positive attitude of the players, parents, and teachers. Special thanks must go to Mark Hall for allowing us to use their facilities again, and to all of the people involved in making the event a success, particularly those who helped us with the umpiring.
Churchgate will now go on to represent Harlow in the County Final on 25th May at Gloucester Park.
