Congratulations to the 27 teams who took part across the town at various secondary school locations in the Years 5 and 6 Netball Qualifiers. The standard of play was strong and the children clearly enjoyed the opportunity to show their skills; more impressive was the amazing displays of sportsmanship on show, with children calling their own fouls and helping umpires when incorrect decisions were made. A big thank you the Passmores, Mark Hall (including Stewards) and Burnt Mill for hosting the separate events; the children had a great time. The winning teams from the events will progress through to next week’s Finals which are being held at Mark Hall Academy.
