A superb morning of Boccia saw the duo from Cooks Spinney 2 compete against all the odds to take the Years 3 and 4 Boccia title.
With only 12 teams attending due to various Covid-related issues, the sports centre inside Mark Hall Academy was unusually calm – though the Year 5 Sports Leaders from Church Langley and the supporting school staff weren’t complaining! The children thoroughly enjoyed their time and developed their skills over several games; having competed in 3 groups of 4, the teams were re-pooled to compete again.
The results were as follows:
Finals Group
1stPlace – Cooks Spinney 2
=2ndPlace – Little Parndon 2
=2ndPlace – Roydon 1
=2ndPlace – Freshwaters 1
Shield Group
1stPlace – Freshwaters 2
