St Marks dominate Secondary Sportshall Event
Congratualtions to the winning teams from St Marks school who dominated this year's Indoor Sportshall Athletics event at MHA.
Following last year's success, yesterday saw the second SGO led Secondary School Athletics event for Years 7 and 8. Teams from St Marks, Passmores, Mark Hall and Burnt Mill supported the event with students – many of which had taken part in primary events – who were an absolute delight to observe.
Sports Leaders from Church Langley helped officiate and score; the results were close in many events but St Marks top all FOUR titles and will go forward to represent Harlow at the County Finals in March.
Thanks Mike Frost from Sportshall Athletics, the CL Sports Leaders for their help and to the secondary school PE departments for supporting what we hope is a further stepping stone to many more events for the secondary schools.
