Katherines take thrilling Futsal title

Congratulations to Katherines Academy who took home this year's Futsal title. With 8 teams qualifying from last week's preliminary rounds the standard was as high as expected. All the teams played fast, flowing football. The players looked confident on the ball and there were some very speedy transitions between attack and defence.

Once the group stages were completed the teams were then given a final game to establish the overall placing’s. The final between Katherines and The Downs was a tight affair, with Katherines successfully maintaining a two-nil lead. A great morning's event was really well attended. Our thanks to Gill Pardoe and Sam Hammond for completing the event - and to the school staff for their great support.
