Change 4 Life success at Church Langley

What a great start to the sporting calendar!

Once again this would be a fitting description of the Change 4 Life festival which was held at Church Langley Primary School. With a few tweaks to the usual activities, both the morning and afternoon events saw 8 teams (16 in total) participate in a rotation of fun and energetic activities to the backdrop of some ‘funky but slightly dated’ tunes. The children were well-organised by some 64 Sports Leaders from Church Langley and everyone had an amazing time.

Teams from: Church Langley, Fawbert and Barnard, The Downs, Tanys Dell, St Nicholas, Freshwaters, Purford Green, Little Parndon, Cooks Spinney, Jerounds and William Martin

Our sincere thanks were given on the day to the staff, spectators and Sports Leaders but I am delighted to be able to share with you some personal messages received afterwards:

I just wanted to say thank you for such a brilliant event today at the Change for Life festival. The day was organised brilliantly; the children (and I!) had lots of fun taking part in the different events and were kept smiling and laughing all morning.

I also wanted to say a big thank you to your sports leaders, especially Alby, Josh, Lucas and Freddie, who did a fab job guiding our St Nicholas Yr 4 team round. The children were a credit to your school  - you must be very proud of them!

Please pass on our thanks to the rest of the team.

Many thanks,

Lisa Fletcher – St Nicholas (Year 4)
