Tag-Rugby Qualifiers go ahead despite cold

Brrrrr!

Well done to all the teams from around the town who competed so well at the 4 hosting secondary schools for this year’s Tag-Rugby Qualifiers. Our thanks go to the staff from Stewards Academy, Mark Hall Academy, Passmores Academy and Burnt Mill Academy for providing opportunities for the 43 teams to practise their skills and pit themselves against each other; this certainly makes the standard for the finals high and gives Harlow a really good chance of selecting a winning team who will perform well on the Level 3 County stage.

The results from the Host schools / Groups are as follows:

Mark Hall Academy

Group 1- Church Langley A - 9 points; The Downs - 7 points; Harlowbury - 4 points and Tanys Dell B - 4 points

Group 2 - Church Langley B - 9 points; Hatfield Heath - 7 points; Fawbert and Barnard B - 4 points; Tanys Dell A - 4 points.

Group 3 - Jerounds - 8 points; Hatfield Heath B - 7 points; Church Langley C - 6 points and Fawbert and Barnard A - 3points.
