Howzat!
Congratulations to all the girls from the 12 teams who took part in this year’s Girls Kwik-Cricket Festival held in the glorious sunshine at Harlow Town CC. With the fantastic support of HTCC and students from Passmores, over 140 girls participated in a series of matches, developing their skills of bowling, batting and fielding. The girls were great ambassadors for their schools and played with huge smiles on their faces.
Eventually Church Langley A retained the trophy, narrowly edging out Church Langley B, Kingsmoor and Milwards in the Super-4 Group playoffs. There were notable performances from Holy Cross, St Lukes A, Church Langley C, St Lukes B, Roydon, Fawbert and Barnard A, Tanys Dell and Fawbert and Barnard B.
Well done Girls –an amazing turn out, great play and lots of fun.
