Gifted and Talented day 2 - MHA July 2015

It really was a day for all seasons, with a torrential downpour followed by clouds before glorious sunshine shone down on the Gifted and Talented day part 2 at Mark Hall Academy. 48 children from 12 primary schools came together to try out some new activities (badminton, Howler Golf and Quad Kids - Athletics) in addition to the mobile climbing wall; the children thoroughly enjoyed these activities and it was great to see the vast majority of them make new friends and behave in a way that would be a credit to their own school.

Thanks to Mrs Pardoe and Mr Stacey from Church Langley for organising the events and to Mr Worton and Joshua from Harlowbury for their help in the afternoon. As a team of adults we have really learnt about the Quad Kids event for next year thanks to these youngsters. It was an amazing day and a great way to end this year’s sporting calendar.
