Mini-Olympics a HUGE success for Years 1/2

This year's annual Mini-Olympics festival at Church Langley Primary School was a resounding success with over 300 children from Years 1 and 2 involved and the sun blazing down overhead. Children from Jerounds, Tanys Dell, Fawbert and Barnard, Henry Moore, Hatfield Heath, Nazeing, Milwards, Harlowbury, St James, Pear Tree Mead, St Nicholas and Church Langley competed in a series of athletic activities, all to the backdrop of pop music. Teams of 12 attended in either the morning or afternoon slot and were guided fantastically by nearly 50 Yr 5/6 Sports Leaders from Church Langley, who looked great in their pink polos!

David Stacey, SGO for Harlow and Deputy Head teacher of Church Langley Primary School thanked all the family supporters, the staff, the sports leaders and all the children who had a blast; each child received a gold medal for their outstanding achievements.
