Congratulations to the Year 3/4 team from St Nicholas, who retained the Tennis trophy at this year’s event held at the Harlow Tennis Club. In an exciting final, St Nicholas narrowly edged out a spirited effort from St Lukes A team to claim first place. It was a full day of Tennis for the 13 teams who entered, spending time in the morning practising their skills before a full-on competition took place under the expert guidance of Will Calvert and his team of coaches. The standard of play was excellent with many teachers commenting that their children had 'fantastic progress throughout the day' having been thoroughly inspired by amazing facilities on offer.
David Stacey (SGO Harlow) thanked Phil Baines of St Nicholas for supporting Will and his team, once again ensuring the children of Harlow have access to high quality sporting competition. St Nicholas will now go forward to represent Harlow at the Summer Games - we wish them great success.
