Congratulations to the Henry Moore Primary School who continue to excel in the sporting arena this term by taking the Netball Finals trophy. Played at Mark Hall Academy, six teams (Pear Tree Mead, Henry Moore, Churchgate, Katherines, St Lukes and Jerounds) competed fantatscially well despite the hailstones and downpour. Playing 4 matches Henry Moore ran out clear winners (12points) from runners-up Churchgate and Katherines (10 points each) remaining unbeaten with some very quick but sporting play.
SGO, David Stacey thanked the children, adults, staff and spectators for their determination to conclude the tournament in such a positive manner; the play was of a very high standard and we all wish the Henry Moore the best of luck in the Level 3 event later on in the year.
