Church Langley claim the Brister Cup

Church Langley continued their hectic and productive summer sporting schedule with victory in the Harlow Primary Schools Rounders, taking the Brister Cup. The late afternoon event, held at William Martin School hosted the winners of the four qualifying groups with Church Langley securing victory with wins over: Nazeing (3rd), William Martin (Runners-Up) and St Lukes (4th). Angela Brister, organising the event for the **th time spoke proudly at the presentation ceremony. She congratulated 'all the players, coaching staff and spectators for a thoroughly enjoyable finals; the standard of rounders was high, the games were competitive but played in the right way.' Our thanks again to Angela and William Martin, for all their hard work in hosting this wonderful event.

Church Langley will now go on to represent Harlow at the Level 3 County event on the 4th July at Basildon Sporting Village. We wish them the best of luck.
