The first ever Change for Life Festival was a great success! 10 teams of children from Harlow Primary Schools, including Tanys Dell, Harlowbury, Katherines, Pear Tree Mead and Church Langley, delighted in the opportunity to compete in this inaugural event. Catherine Lewis, PLT from Church Langley, stated, "The children absolutely loved it! They smiled throughout the entire afternoon. I spoke to so many children who said that they loved being part of the school team as they had never done it before."
Event organiser, David Stacey -Acting SGO- enthused, "To see so many new faces enjoy taking part in a fun and safe environment, without the pressures of serious competition made all the hard work setting it up worthwhile. Already we are looking forward to expanding this event to include more Harlow School's, hoping to inspire more young people to be active."
