Netball success for Yrs 3 and 4

Children in Years 3 and 4 from Pear Tree Mead, Tanys Dell, Harlowbury, Church Langley and Abbotsweld enjoyed a fantastic time learning to play High 5's in a fun festival hosted by Laura Tyler at Pear Tree Mead. This new event for the HSSP (Harlow School Sports Partnership) was a real success and owed much to the dedication of a team of enthusastic teachers from the HDPSSA. Over 70 children smiled their way through the sunshine and showers to take part against other schools, with umpires providing coaching and tips to guide them. The children were delighted to recieve a certificate for their efforts and have hopefully been inspired to continue playing Netball at school and beyond. Our thanks again to Pear Tree Mead and Laura Tyler for a fantastic afternoon festival. We look forward to conituing this next year.
