Harlow School Sport Partnership - Latton Green and Water Lane Jump and Tumble to Titles!
On Tuesday 1st May 103 gymnasts comprising 17 teams arrived at Mark Hall Sports Centre to compete in the annual Harlow Key Steps Gymnastics Festival. The teams were competing in two age groups – years 1&2 (7 teams) and Years 3&4 (8 teams).
The teams all performed group and individual gymnastic routines and every gymnastic completed a solo vault gaining scores for their teams.
Water Lane took the year 1&2 title with a total score of 107.6 and Latton Green took the year 3&4 title with a score of 107.8. This was a level 2 School Games event and both schools will represent Harlow at the Summer School Games (level 3) taking place on 28th June at Basildon Sporting Village.
The following schools entered teams: Abbotsweld, Harlowbury, Latton Green, Sheering, St Lukes, St Nicholas, and Water Lane

George Gardiner Partnership Manger; Harlow SSP said “in this Olympic year it was great to see over 100 very young children competing against each other in an Olympic sport in such a good spirit. Everyone who has taken part in today deserves a massive thank you for making the day such a success”.
