Mini Basketball 2012

On Tuesday 24th January 16 year 5/6 teams from Harlow Primary Schools came to Mark Hall to compete in the mini basketball qualifiers. After some high quality basketball the top 4 teams from both events were invited back to compete for the title of Harlow Champions 2012 on Tuesday 31st January.

Well done to all the teams that qualified who were Roydon, Latton Green, Hare Street, Church Langley, William Martin, Jerounds, St Nicks and Tany’s Dell.

After a very close final match between Roydon and Hare street where it was a draw at the end of full time and extra time, the teams were eventually separated by 2 points after playing further 2mins of extra time.

The winners and Champions of 2012 were Roydon and we would like to say well done on not only winning but playing some fantastic basketball on route to their victory!

Well done to all the teams who took part in making the overall event a fantastic success.
