Cross Country - Years 3 and 4 (am)

Schools can enter up to 8 pupils (extra entrees need to be confirmed with David in advance) per race.

To compete in the team event, your school will need at least 4 finishers.

Schools can enter less than 4 pupils per race if they wish; there are individual scores. E.g. a school could enter 1 or 2 children in a race and although they wouldn't be eligible to compete as a team, they could score individually.

Distances: Year 3/4 - 1000m                  

Runners can wear trainers, spikes or football boots etc...

There will be a walkthrough of the course for all Years 3/4 (at 9.30am)

The races will begin at 10.15pm but will then run in order; no start times will be given after the first race of as it will depend on course/weather conditions and finishers clearing the course.

Races will be as follows:

1. Year 3 Girls - 1000m

2. Year 3 Boys - 1000m

3. Year 4 Girls - 1000m

4. Year 4 Boys - 1000m

Presentation of Years 3 and 4 races on the concrete area at the end.

The winning TEAM from each event will represent Harlow in the Level 3 County TEAM event on Friday 24th April 2020 at Hadleigh Park.

The TOP 5 runners from each event will represent Harlow in the Level 3 County INDIVIDUAL event (tbc).
