Church Langley take Tag-Rugby trophy

Congratulations to Church Langley A, who ran out winners of this year’s Tag-Rugby Finals at Harlow Rugby Club, narrowly edging out Church Langley B. Of the 41 teams who started last week, the 7 finalists produced some of the best running rugby that we have seen in the Harlow Sports Partnership. Once again thanks to Michael Weston at the Harlow Rugby Club for supporting the event and to Malcolm Harries and Gill Pardoe for assisting David Stacey (SGO Harlow), ensuring that the event ran smoothly.

During the morning all teams played each other, the results of the as follows:

Church Langley A - 18 points

Church Langley B - 15 points

Hatfield Heath - 11 points

St Albans - 11 points

St Lukes B – 10 points

St Lukes A – 9 points

Hare Street - 6 points

We wish Church Langley A every success when they go forward to the Level 3 event at Southend in April 2017.
