Change 4 Life Festival fun@Church Langley

What a hectic day! Well done and many thanks to all the participating children and staff from across the town who attended both or either of the Change 4 Life Festivals at Church Langley Primary School. The day was a great success, with many children who perhaps find competitive situations difficult, able to enjoy many different athletics activities in a friendly environment. The addition of music and spectators - not to mention the amazing weather - really helped the day run smoothly.

With 48 Sports Leaders (from CL) on hand to guide and encourage, the competing teams made their way through a series of activities such as: avoiding being tagged in rugby; racing through obstacles; mastering the sack race; aiming at targets with bean bags and vortex howlers and 'cheating' their way through a game of Rob the Chest! Both the morning and afternoon events were well attended and the children were delighted to receive a medal for all their efforts; the smiles on the faces told of a great time had by all.

Thanks were given to the Sports Leaders and staff from Church Langley School for organising and facilitating such a great event.
