C4L festivals an AMAZING success.

Amazing!

That would be an apt description of the Change 4 Life festivals which were held today at Church Langley Primary School. The morning saw 10 teams of 12 pupils particiapte in a rotation of fun and energetic activities to the backdrop of some ‘funky’ tunes. The children were well-organised by some 40 Sports Leaders from Church Langley and everyone had an amazing time.

The afternoon was a repeat event for Church Langley, using a different (and younger set of Sports Leaders) the 9 teams enjoyed the same energetic activities, developing their skills in rugby, golf, hockey, football, relay running and the hilarious sack race!

Thanks as ever was given on the day to the staff, spectators and Sports Leaders but I am delighted to be able to share with you some personal message sent:

Just wanted to say a massive thank you from Tanys Dell today. I know it's a huge work load for you (David Stacey) but the kids who came today were buzzing. Some that came today really struggle at school and it was so good to see them laughing and having fun. Thank you.

Mrs Brignal - Tanys Dell

Can I just pass on a massive thank you for the Change 4 Life event today!  My TA who went with both groups said it was the best tournament she has been to and it was amazingly well organised. She said your sports leaders are a credit to your school and we're brilliant with all the children involved.  The kids had an amazing time as well - to the point the Year 2’s asked if they could go back tomorrow! Thanks again for your continued hard work and a massive well done for today! Miss Evans - William Martin Infant and Juniors
